Prime Minister, Imran Khan, reportedly launches a new relief program for the unemployed.
According to a report by Baaghi TV, Prime Minister Imran Khan will launch a relief program today for those who have lost their jobs due to the coronavirus in Pakistan.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will reportedly inaugurate the web portal developed for this program today. Unemployed people will be able to register on this portal as industrial and business activities will be affected in the Corona Lockdown. Registered unemployed persons will be given assistance of Rs. 12,000 per person through Ehsas Emergency Cash, according to reports.
The Government of Pakistan has allocated resources to address the challenge of the Coronavirus, and a Prime Minister’s COVID-19 Relief Fund has also been set up to help those affected by the epidemic. It is clear that the provision of aid under the Ehsas program has begun. 12 million families have started getting Rs 12,000 each. According to reports, donations will be made available from the centers between 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Prime Minister, Imran Khan, had announced financial aid for the poor after being locked down due to the coronavirus. The government started making payments in the third week of the lockdown. So far, payments have been made to women in all provinces of Pakistan and 17,000 centers have been set up across the country.

Police and Pakistan Army personnel were reportedly also present outside the centers set up under the Ehsas Kifalat program. Under the Ehsas program, Rs 144 billion will be distributed among the beneficiaries during two and a half weeks.
Category-2 subscribers of Ehsas Emergency Cash include those who have registered through 8171 SMS service. Payments to them have also been started. Ehsas Emergency Cash Program is reportedly the largest relief package in the history of Pakistan.
