The statement from the LNA has said Air Defense had shot down a Turkish airliner in the early hours of Saturday morning near the town of Bani Waleed. During the last hours of the evening, the Turkish airliner tried to attack civilian targets in the city, and their air defense platforms were able to shoot them.
The Libyan military has shot down more than a dozen unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) linked to the Turkish military and the government’s National Accord (GNA) in the past week.
