Multan: An emergency has been declared in the city of Multan in Punjab province following an increase in cases of coronavirus.
According to details, Deputy Commissioner Multan Abdul Aamer Khattak, in view of the increase in cases of coronavirus, declared an emergency in Multan and directed to double the number of ventilators in Nishtar Hospital.
Amir Khattak said that private hospitals should allocate half of the available ventilators for patients. Initially, each hospital will allocate 2 ventilator beds and the number of ventilator beds will be increased if required.
