Balochistan government spokesman Liaquat Shahwani said that the prevalence of corona in Balochistan is higher than other provinces but the number of cases has come down in the last few days.
Briefing the media about Corona in Quetta, he said that the number of Corona cases in Balochistan had increased in early June but decreased this week.
He said that after the reduction in the spread rate of Corona in Quetta, it has now reached 78%. This suggests that citizens now take Corona seriously and realize that Corona is a reality.
The spokesman said that the recovery rate from Corona in Balochistan has increased to 38%.
He said that only 2% of the people affected by Corona in Balochistan are in isolation wards while the remaining 98% are undergoing treatment at home.
He said that SOPs are being formed with reference to educational institutions. He said that students protested against online classes yesterday. Their demands are justified as most parts of Balochistan do not have internet access.
He said that the Chief Minister of Balochistan has taken notice of the tragic incident that took place during the students’ protest yesterday.
