The government is being sharply criticized for raising the prices of petroleum products.
Baaghi TV: On social networking site Twitter, Hamid Mir commented on Asad Umar’s 2018 petrol figures. The anchor said “the past is a torment.”
Back in 2018 Asad Omar criticized the government on Twitter and wrote in his tweet that the government is using the excuse of rising oil prices in the world market. It is not telling the public that it will collect Rs 26 per liter on diesel and Rs 21 per liter on petrol this month. The hands of this government always go into the pockets of the people. This government does not take taxes from the powerful neither do they stop money laundering.

On this tweet of Asad Umar, senior anchor person Hamid Mir wrote that the memory of the past is a torment Oh Lord, take away my memory from me.
Twitter users also commented on Hamid Mir’s tweet.
یہ حکومت اور عمران خان اپنا ماضی نہیں اپوزیشن کا ماضی یاد رکھتی ے۔ ماضی یاد رکھیں گے تو یوٹرن کون کہےگا؟

Earlier, host and anchor Junaid Saleem had also criticized the government on social networking site Twitter and asked Prime Minister Imran Khan to resign.
It should be noted that the PTI government dropped a petrol bomb on the people and for the first time in the history of Pakistan the lump sum prices increased by Rs 25. The people, including the opposition, are protesting against the increase in petrol prices, but the PTI is cleaning up by saying that the prices were increased after the rise in oil prices in the world market.
