According to the report of Baaghi TV, the government is being severely criticized due to the increase in the prices of petroleum products. While the opposition parties have rejected this increase, the journalists are also criticizing the government.

Senior journalist Salman Ghani tweeted on social networking site Twitter that no genuinely elected minister, adviser or member of parliament can defend an anti-people move like the Rs 25 per liter increase in petrol. This “pleasant” duty can only be performed by salaried spokespersons or by mysterious and dubious advisers brought in from outside who are pursuing a particular agenda of this government.

In another tweet, Salman Ghani said that the Ministry of Finance committed the economic murder of the inflation and troubled people by dropping petrol bombs on them. Is it subordinate to the elected government? The opposition will react to this anti-people move and where do they stand on this doomsday will show their intentions.

In another tweet, Salman Ghani said that as long as public representatives are not held accountable for solving public problems, those behind mysterious and dubious affiliations will continue to be economical disaster. May God save Pakistan from their nefarious agenda.

Commenting on Salman Ghani’s tweet, a user said that all the doors will be found closed even if you search for them. Of course, all will come to the door. Coming will be at this door, because it is open. People fear Allah, there is fire besides Allah, you bear true witness, come to the truth.

The PTI government dropped petrol bombs on the people and for the first time in the history of Pakistan increased the prices by a lump sum of Rs 25. The people, including the opposition, are protesting against the increase in petrol prices. PTI is making it clear that the increase in prices was due to the rise in oil prices in the world market.

Coronavirus Updates: Another 74 patients lost their lives to Covid-19

When Prime Minister Imran Khan was in opposition, he used to wail after the rise in oil prices and call it a robbery on the poor. Many of his statements and tweets in this regard are on record, but now he himself has a reason to do so. Before petrol became cheaper, the mafia created a shortage of petrol. This month, poor people have been pushing for petrol.

The petrol pump owners had closed the sale of petrol. Cheap petrol did not benefit the people. Now the government, under pressure from the petrol mafia, has increased prices itself, which has been rejected by opposition parties.

The poor people of Pakistan are already worried because of the Corona lockdown. Corona shut down the business. Millions lost their jobs. Salaries have not been increased in the budget before. Now petrol bomb is a gift from the government to the people which the people are not ready to accept in any case but the government has made this gift helpless in front of the mafia.

Federal Minister for Energy Omar Ayub has said that the prices of petroleum products in Pakistan are still the lowest in the subcontinent. Last month, global crude oil prices rose sharply and the Pakistani rupee depreciated by three rupees.

Due to these reasons, the price of petrol should have been increased by Rs 31.58 paisa while the price of diesel should have been increased by Rs 24.31 paisa, but the government increased the price of petrol by Rs 25.58 paisa and diesel by Rs 21.31 paisa.

The government raised the prices of petroleum products by a record. According to the notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the price of petrol was increased by Rs 25.58 per liter, after which the price of petrol reached Rs 100.10 per liter.

Due to the reduction in the consumption of oil in the world market due to the corona virus, the prices had reached the lowest level in history, after which the prices of petroleum products in Pakistan were also reduced. The government had reduced the total price of petroleum products by Rs 56.89 per liter during the lockdown due to the corona virus.
