LAHORE: A resolution for the resignation of Prime Minister Imran Khan has been submitted to the Punjab Assembly.

According to reports, PML-N MPA Sadia Taimur submitted a resolution in the Punjab Assembly demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Sadia Taimur says that the recent budget was declared tax-free by Prime Minister Imran Khan, then the prices of petroleum products were increased dramatically before the end of the financial year, the contradiction in words and deeds of PM has become clear after which there is no justification for him to remain in power. MPA Sadia Taimur said that the Prime Minister should resign from his post.

On the other hand, PML-N President Mian Shahbaz Sharif has directed Khawaja Asif to contact all the opposition parties on the rise in prices of petroleum products. PML-N President Mian Shahbaz Sharif directed Khawaja Asif that all opposition parties should join the protest against the highest 33% increase in the history of the country.

While the problems and expectations of the people should be presented fully in the parliament, Shahbaz Sharif said that the lives of the people have already become unbearable, the increase in petrol prices has increased their problems. The benefit of reduction was not given to the people, the increase in the prices of petroleum products is cruel.
