Uzma Kardar to file an appeal against the party’s decision

Lahore, 6th July: According to the report of Baaghi TV, Punjab Assembly member PTI Uzma Kardar has decided to file an appeal against the party’s decision.

Talking to a private TV channel, Uzma Kardar said that she was going to file a petition against the decision on the party’s applet committee.

It is to be noted that the party discipline committee of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has expelled Punjab Assembly member Uzma Kardar from the party and a written order has also been issued.

Notification issued to remove Uzma Kardar from PTI

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Standing Committee on Discipline and Accountability has issued a notification to terminate the basic party membership of Punjab Assembly member Uzma Kardar. Therefore, her basic party membership is terminated. She is not eligible for any parliamentary post.

The notification further said that the decision was taken after hearing the position of the Member Punjab Assembly Uzma Kardar. The decision was taken after the evidence came to light.

It is to be noted that Uzma Kardar’s audio call regarding Prime Minister Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi went viral on which she was given a notice of reasons on June 15. In the audio call, Uzma Kardar was talking about the personal life of the Prime Minister. Later, the party disciplinary committee had asked Kardar to appear in person but she did not appear before the disciplinary committee.

Uzma Kardar sacked from Punjab’s Media Strategic Committee

When the audio of Uzma Kardar was leaked, Punjab Senior Provincial Minister Abdul Aleem Khan said that unethical words against the first lady were shameful and he condemned them in strong words. No one who does this is eligible for PTI or any government post.

Earlier, the action was taken against PTI MPA Uzma Kardar after the audio leak. Uzma Kardar was removed from the Media Strategy Committee. A notification has been issued in this regard by Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan.
