Pakistan warns TikTok, blocks Bigo live
According to a Baaghi TV report, Pakistan has blocked the Bigo Live app and issued a warning to TikTok on vulgar content. TikTok is also being called earlier because of its obscene and immoral content.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and member, Seemabia Tahir has submitted a resolution in the Punjab Assembly regarding ban on TikTok.
The text of the resolution submitted by Seemabia Tahir said, “Religions are being mocked in Pakistan through TikTok videos and obscenity is also spreading due to mobile applications.”
The resolution also said, “The new generation is being pushed to the brink of disaster by talking nonsense on TikTok. There are no restrictions on the videos shared on the platform and there is no legal arrest.”
Seemabia Tahir wrote that TikTok videos are also being used for blackmailing due to which so far many people have committed suicide and lost their precious lives.
The resolution submitted in the House demanded that “The Punjab Assembly calls on the federal government to impose a complete ban on TikTok videos in order to save the younger generation.”
