According to the report of Baaghi TV, the hearing of the case of assets in excess of income against Khursheed Shah has been adjourned till August 12.
Khursheed Shah was produced before the accountability court in Sukkhur by ambulance. A large number of PPP workers were also present on the occasion. PPP National Assembly member Syed Khursheed Shah while talking to media on the occasion of his court appearance said that Kashmir issue is not of today, this issue has been going on for 72 years.
Khursheed Shah said that protests and rallies on Kashmir issue were not beneficial. The whole nation needs to come together firmly on the Kashmir issue. Government policy on Kashmir issue has failed. The issue of Kashmir should go to Muslim countries and European countries. The government should have made a strong foreign policy but the government failed.
Khursheed Shah further said that Zulfiqar Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif raised the issue of Kashmir in the world, the strict policies of the present government have failed and the performance has become zero. The government wants to wall off the PPP, the current government can do nothing but retaliate.
It may be mentioned that the Sukkur Bench of the Sindh High Court had rejected the bail pleas of PPP leader, National Assembly member Khursheed Shah and his son MPA Farrukh Shah. Khursheed Shah and his 18 accomplices are under reference in the NAB court on charges of making assets worth more than Rs 1.23 billion.
NAB has filed a reference against Khursheed Shah in the accountability court. Another 17 people have been nominated in the reference against Khurshid Shah. Khursheed Shah’s wife, two sons and son-in-law have also appeared in court. Owais Qadir Shah, MPA Farrukh Shah and others have appeared before the accountability court.
