The government took practical steps to add 2,150 oxygen beds across the country by July 31st to increase the capacity of hospitals. As a result of the visits of NCOC special teams to all the provinces including Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, efforts were made to set up a practical university to add 2,850 oxygen beds.
