Lahore, 25th August: An announcement has been issued to open educational institutions from September 15.
According to reports, the Provincial Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced to open educational institutions from September 15.
According to the announcement, schools will be reopened under Corona SOPs, while soap for handwashing is mandatory in schools. The statement said that the supply of disinfectants in schools will be ensured.
Punjab takes a major decision regarding Primary schools
Muhammad Ibrahim, Provincial Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while talking to Geo News, said that as per the decision of the federal government, schools under SOPs will be opened from September 15.
Mohammad Ibrahim said staff of all schools have been trained to implement Corona SOPs while the use of sanitizers and masks will be made mandatory in schools.
Reopening of Schools in Punjab to be decided soon
It is believed that educational institutions in the country have been closed for several months due to coronavirus. However, after the situation in Corona has improved, the government has announced to reopen educational institutions across the country from September 15.
