Karachi Rains: Residents demand action against DHA, CBC

Rawalpindi August 28 (Online): Pakistan Army Engineers on Monday cleared Gizri Underpass and opened for traffic, said a press release issued by ISPR.

In last two days KPT,  Civic Centre , Mohsin Bhopali and Golimar underpass were cleared for traffic. Dewatering at multiple locations continues to ensure civic facilities. Army Mobile Recovery vehicles deployed at various choke points are shifting faulty vehicles  to aside to keep  flow of traffic.

Thirty-two emergency medical  and 56 relief camps are working  in coordination with civil administration and  helping people in distress in various parts of Karachi cooked meals being provided to stranded people in flood hit areas. Three Army field medical facilities established at Qayyumabad, Sarjani and Sadi town   providing immediate emergency medical care to flood victims.
