Islamabad, 21st September: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) called on the Prime Minister and discussed the current security situation in the country.

Baaghi TV: Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa had an important meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan in which the current security situation in the country was discussed.

According to sources, members of the federal cabinet and other officials were present at the meeting. On this occasion, a briefing was given on Indian aggression on the Line of Control (LoC).

Earlier, the military leadership had made it clear that the Pakistan Army was not directly or indirectly involved in any political process in the country.

Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and DG ISI Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed called on the parliamentary leaders. The military leadership made it clear to the country’s political leadership that the Pakistan Army had nothing to do with the political process directly or indirectly.

During the meeting, administrative matters of Gilgit-Baltistan and national security were discussed in detail. The military leadership in the meeting called for keeping the Pakistan Army away from political affairs.

The military leadership on the occasion called for speedy and effective implementation of the National Action Plan.
