Lahore, 21st September: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar addressed the International Peace Day and said that Pakistan is a peace-loving nation.

Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that Pakistan and its people are well aware of the importance and need for peace. No one has sacrificed more for peace than the Pakistani nation.

Pakistan is playing a leading role in regional and international peace efforts. Pakistan’s journey from fire to peace is due to the precious sacrifices of the martyrs – the martyrs are the messengers of peace whose eternal sacrifices can never be forgotten.

Buzdar further said that Pakistan has achieved peace after making immense sacrifices in the war on extremism and terrorism. Extremist and extremist elements are a constant threat to peace.
