A Hollywood production ‘The Last Full Measure’ to cinemas in Pakistan

(Karachi: 5th February 2020): Pakistani Hollywood producer Habib Paracha’s most anticipated war drama film “The Last Full Measure” has been released nationwide after a star-studded premiere at Nueplex, DHA, in Karachi.

This is the first time that a Hollywood film by a Pakistani Executive Producer has been released in Pakistan.

The star-studded movie premiere was attended by some of the biggest names of the Pakistani entertainment industry including Ali Rehman Khan, Sarwat Gillani, Humaima Malik, Adeel Husain, Anoushey Abbas; fashion designers Sana Safinaz, Asim Jofa, Humayun Alamgir along with the members of the business & the diplomatic community.

Written and directed by Todd Robinson, the film stars Sebastian Stan, Christopher Plummer, William Hurt Ed Harris, and Samuel L. Jackson, among others.

Habib Paracha is the executive producer behind the film, which narrates the true story of William Pitsenbarger, played by Jeremy Irvine, who is a war hero of the highest order, an Air Force medic who personally saved over sixty men.

Talking at the premiere of the movie, the excited producer, Habib Paracha said, “I am really overwhelmed with everyone coming out at the premiere, and I hope everyone enjoyed watching it as much as we enjoyed working on this movie. We aim to take this experience to bring the stories of our heroes to the Pakistani and international audience too.”

Talking about the film release, CEO HKC Entertainment, Hammad Chaudhry, said, “It has been a great experience bringing this movie to cinemas across Pakistan, and we are really happy and proud to be a part of this venture by a Pakistani producer.”

“The Last Full Measure” marks as Habib Paracha’s fourth venture in Hollywood after ‘The Trust,’ ‘Terminal,’ and ‘Strive.’

As one of the few Pakistani producers representing the country in Hollywood, Habib Paracha, has made a name for himself with critically acclaimed productions starring popular American actors including Nicholas Cage, Elijah Wood, Margot Robbie, Samuel L. Jackson, and many others.
