February 12, 2021: According to the report of Baaghi TV, PML-N leader Ata Tarar was arrested from Daska. PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb has confirmed that Ataullah Tarar has been arrested by the police. The reason could not be ascertained.
According to reports, Attar had reached Wazirabad to inspect the route of Maryam Nawaz’s rally.
After the arrest of Ata Tarar, a large number of N-League workers reached outside the City Wazirabad police station, chanting slogans for the release of Ata Tarar and other workers.
PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb has alleged that Ataullah Tarar was not arrested but was abducted as there was no case against him and the police did not have any warrants.
She said that the arrest of Ata Tarar was a proof that the people had rejected PTI and tha they had lost the elections in both the seats.
Police later released Ataullah Tarar.
