Police caught an older man in Hatena, Japan, who was stealing underwear from a laundry. It turned out that not one or two, the man stole more than 700 underwear. According to an international newspaper report, the incident took place in Japan. Tetsuo Urata went to steal six pairs of underwear from the laundry. When the police caught Tetsuo, they decided to search his house. To their surprise, there were about 630 more pieces of underwear hidden in his home.
Later, the local police also shared pictures of the underwear lying on the floor in their posts on social media. They also said that never before have so many incidents of theft of underwear come to light. This incident has gone viral on all social media platforms. However, he was caught stealing while pursuing this strange hobby. When he was taken to Dunedin District Court, he said he did not go to the city with any criminal intent. His lawyer said his client had arrived at the Moana Pool only to do a spa. But while bathing in the pool, he suddenly felt like stealing his underwear. But none of the lawyer’s arguments were washed out. The judge dismissed all his pleas. According to him, the older man stole the underwear of the women taking advantage of their absence.
