GUJRANWALA: A man in Punjab’s Gujranwala district allegedly killed his sister after an altercation over the use of a smartphone on Sunday.
The incident occurred at Liaquat Colony, according to authorities. The use of a smartphone caused a dispute between the two siblings. The man was enraged and went on to murder his sister.
The police report says he fled the crime site and that they are working to get him as soon as possible. The murder has been registered as a first information report (FIR).

In Attock, Punjab, on August 7, a man murdered his wife for asking for a cellphone. When his wife asked him to surrender her a smartphone, a man opened fire and killed her on the spot in Attock’s Pindi Sultani neighbourhood.
The guy, whose identity was not released by the authorities, had also harmed himself after killing his wife.
