According to the report of Baaghi TV, a citizen has approached the Sindh High Court to get permission to take Hashish.

In the petition filed in the Sindh High Court, citizen Ghulam Asghar Saeen has said that drinking up to 10 grams of hashish should be allowed.

Expressing anger over the petition, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar of Sindh High Court said, “What kind of petition have you come up with? Do you want everyone in the country to start consuming cannabis?”

The court said that tell me how much fine should be imposed on you. Petitioner Ghulam Asghar Sai said that I am a poor man and I have come with a petition for the public interest.

The petitioner said that the fine imposed of keeping 10 grams of charas should be removed. Many countries have legalized consuming charas and hashish.

The court remarked that if you have to drink, you should go to those countries then, why bring such petitions to the court?

The petitioner told the court that allowing cannabis to be consumed would increase the income of the country and generate revenue.

The court dismissed the petition as inadmissible.
