Abu Dhabi cancels COVID-19 entry testing

Abu Dhabi: The capital of United Arab Emirates (UAE), Abu Dhabi, has abolished the requirement of a negative test report of COVID-19 for those entering the city.

According to an American news agency’s report, the state of Abu Dhabi has announced the lifting of a major ban on the entry of passengers coming from other states of the UAE. Passengers will no longer have to show a negative coronavirus test report for visiting the city.

It is to be noted that Abu Dhabi had made the entry of passengers subject to a negative report to control the coronavirus, which also applied to those coming from the UAE states.

Even after Dubai allowed tourists to enter, the capital of UAE upheld the requirement for a negative test report and made the COVID-19 vaccine certificate mandatory for entry into public places.

According to the report, other states in the UAE did not require the coronavirus vaccine certificate to allow locals to enter public places.
