Saba Qamar, a well-known actress in Pakistan showbiz industry, believes that “Acting is an art which should not be limited to one type or one country only, hopefully one day things will get better between Pakistan and India”.

Baaghi TV: Famous actress of Pakistan showbiz industry Saba Qamar says, hopefully one day things will get better between Pakistan and India. After the death of Indian actor Irrfan Khan, while talking to Indian news agency Hindustan Times, Saba Qamar, shared memories of the time she spent with actor Irrfan Khan on the set of the film Hindi Medium.

Saba Qamar said, “I am very saddened by the death of Irrfan Khan. I have learned a lot from him. He was a very big and great actor.” Working with him has been a ‘fan moment’ for me.

Saba Qamar said, “I believe that acting is really about behaving in imaginary situations and that’s what I saw in Irrfan Khan.”

The Pakistani actress further said that, when she was with Irrfan Khan, there was not a moment when there was silence. Khan was always joking with his teammates. The actress said that he used to force me to learn new things and also to give me useful advice. Referring to an incident, Qamar said, “During shooting, when I entered a room, Irrfan was sitting inside. He saw me and started singing.”

Regarding the love she gets from her fans in India, Saba Qamar said that she hopes things will get better between Pakistan and India. She said, “I think acting is a part of art that should not be limited to one type or one country and art has no borders.”

It should be noted that, Saba Qamar made her Bollywood debut in Hindi Medium with the versatile Indian actor Irrfan Khan, and her performance was highly appreciated, while the Cheekh actress had millions of fans in Pakistan after the film in Bollywood, her fan base also grew across the border.
