Admission of supply of dead animal meat in Lahore
8 February 2021: According to a report by Baghi TV, the supply of meat of dead animals was disrupted in Lahore Shirakot police operation The dead animals were being supplied from Sharqpur to Lahore. Shirakot police signaled Mazda to stop at the check post. The Mazda driver did not stop the vehicle but after being chased by the police, the Mazda stopped and when it was opened, it was seen to be carrying a dead buffalo.
The Mazda driver revealed that meat from carcasses of dead animals are supplied for sale in Lahore. He said that most of the dead animals were found on the roads and open spaces, after which they were taken to the slaughterhouse illegally, after which the dead meat was sold in different parts of the city.
