Aug 30, 2021:  Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said in an interview to a foreign channel that Afghanistan belongs only to Afghans and Afghans will not tolerate any pressure.

Mujahid said the security situation was not taken care of by former Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and he left Kabul. The Taliban wanted to negotiate with Ashraf Ghani to find a solution to this problem.

Zabihullah Mujahid said the United States had made more sacrifices in Afghanistan than its allies.

He said war is not the solution to any problem and we need to talk. Zabihullah Mujahid further stated said that the incompetence of the United States was proved by the fact that it could not handle an airport, so how could it handle the whole of Afghanistan. The United States has full control over the Afghan airfield with the excuse of providing security, but such excuses will not work now.

Earlier, the Taliban spokesman said that Afghan Taliban leaders had repeatedly made it clear that Afghan territory would not be used against anyone and that the TTP would have to obey the Afghan Taliban.

Zabihullah Mujahid had said that if the Pakistani Taliban consider the leader of the Afghanistan Taliban as their leader, then they must also obey the Afghan Taliban because if the TTP has pledged allegiance to our Amir al-Muminin, they will obey him.

Whether the TTP agrees or not, the Afghanistan Taliban has repeatedly insisted that they will not use our land against anyone else, and the Pakistani Taliban have been told they are not allowed to operate from Afghanistan. And a mechanism will be set up in this regard.

He said the announcement of a new government in Afghanistan would be made soon. The inclusion of anyone other than the Taliban in the government is not under discussion and consultations to form a government are in the final stages.

Meanwhile Taliban spokesman Sohail Shaheen blamed former president Ashraf Ghani for the post-August 15 chaos in Afghanistan and said the former said the latter had made a big mistake by leaving the government abruptly.

They left the government and fled, which led to a sudden vacuum, leading to looting and shootings. On August 15, the Taliban advanced on the Afghanistan capital with a desire for a peaceful transfer of power.
