Afghanistan sets 161 target against Namibia

Afghanistan sets a target of 161 runs for Namibia to beat, but victory could be Afghanistan’s destiny, sources have claimed.

According to sources, in the ongoing match in Abu Dhabi, Afghanistan decided to bat first after winning the toss against Namibia. Mohammad Shehzad scored 45, Hazratullah Zazai 33, while Mohammad Nabi scored an unbeaten 32 and Asghar Afghan 31 runs.

For Namibia, Jobin took 2 wickets and Asmat took 1 wicket.

It may be recalled that Afghan cricketer Asghar Afghan had announced his retirement yesterday after which he is playing his last international match today.

Two matches will be played in the T20 World Cup today as well. The first match is between the teams of Afghanistan and Namibia. On the other hand, it seems difficult for Namibia to meet the target of 161 of Afghanistan.

In the second and most important match, India and New Zealand will face each other. Cricket fans will be able to watch the match at 7 pm Pakistan time.
