Afghanistan: US drone strike kills 9 civilians
Aug. 30, 2021: A former Afghan soldier’s home has been targeted in a drone strike near Kabul airport. A coalition spokesman was among those killed in the drone strike.
Victims of the drone strike conducted by the US include; Naseer, military officer, Zameer, shopkeeper, Faisal, student, Farzad, student, Ayat, age 2 years, Samia, age 2 years, Armin, age 4 years, and Benyamin, age 3 years.
A car bomb had been planted west of Kabul, and when the US targeted the vehicle, they ended up killing at least nine people, including several children. The US centcom said it managed to target carried several ISIS suicide bombers, but did not say how many ISIS members were killed in the attack.
The Centcom, meanwhile, says it is investigating civilian casualties in a drone strike in Kabul that killed nine people, including six children. They have received reports and are investigating the casualties.
On the other hand, the Taliban, in response to recent US statements in the presence of ISIS in Afghanistan, has said that there is no place for ISIS in Afghanistan. A member of the Taliban’s political office in Doha says the United States has used propaganda to spread ISIS in Afghanistan.
Abdul Haq Wasiq, a member of the Taliban’s political office in Doha, said in response to recent US airstrikes in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province. That the United States has no right to conduct military operations in the country.
It should be noted that the Taliban has complete control over Kabul.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid gave an important message to the world and the Afghan nation in a press conference, the Taliban also visited various places including radio and TV offices and talked to the employees.
