QUETTA: Governor of Balochistan Amanullah Yasinzai has resigned after a fierce clash. According to reports, Governor of Balochistan Amanullah Yasinzai has resigned today.

In this regard, it is also known that he has given his resignation after finding no legal way. Meanwhile, according to sources, the Governor of Balochistan has sent his resignation to the President on which a decision will be taken soon.

It may be recalled that Amanullah Yasinzai was appointed Governor of Balochistan in October 2018.

Also in May this year, a letter was issued by the Prime Minister on April 30 seeking the resignation of Balochistan Governor Amanullah Yasinzai.

Leading constituencies in Islamabad say different names have been put forward for the new governor, and it is possible that a former army general could be nominated, with final approval from the prime minister.
