Airport Security Forces salaries to be increased by 15%

ISLAMABAD: Airport Security Forces (ASF) can expect to have their salaries increased by 15%, said the Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed on Friday. Prime Minister Imran Khan has also given his approval in this regard, stated Rasheed.

The ASF employees would get the increase in their salary with effect from March 1st, he added.

The Interior Minister went on to state that PM Imran Khan had approved 15% increase in salaries of the civil armed forces last week. The government had already announced 15% disparity allowance for the Federal Government employees from grade 1-19, he added.

While announcing the 15% increase in the salaries of Frontier Corps (FC) forces, Prime Minister Imran Khan praised their performance and bravery in combatting against terrorism and paid tribute to them for their courageous performance.

He appreciated the FC personnel for their steadfastness throughout the war against terrorism and said that Pakistan is thankful to them for their services.
