American singer reacts to Pete Davidson’s interview
Ariana Grande is "not upset" over her ex's remarks.
Los Angeles (27th Feb, 2020): American singer, Ariana Grande has reacted to Pete Davidson’s public interview about the couple’s engagement.
According to reports, Pete Davidson has appeared in a very public interview to discuss his previous engagement with Ariana Grande. The engagement was called off following reports of Grande’s ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller’s passing due to an “accidental” drug overdose.
A source from HollywoodLife.com has stated that “Pete being honest” is what Ariana Grande liked. It was added that the exes have an “understanding” that what they shared was “amazing” but that it was time to move on.
Pete being honest is what Ariana really loved about him. She knows that he has his demons, but if he is able to share his feelings it helps out immensely. They both have an understanding that what they had was amazing, but it was just not the right time to continue.
Moreover, it was added that the two are in “different places in their life where being friends is what things need to be”. It was elaborated that Grande is not upset over Davidson’s public interview where he has spoken up about the split as well as sharing details from their time together. The insider further stated that Ariana Grande “is happy to hear that he seems to be learning from it all and maturing from it”, and that Grande will continue to show support for Pete Davidson because “she knows the real him and where he is coming from”.
Reportedly, Davidson had been candid in the interview as he commented that he was aware the relationship had reached its course.
I pretty much knew it was around over after that. That was really horrible, and I can’t imagine what that sh*t is like.
