Lahore, 7th August: A dispute between Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry and PTV anchor Tasawar Zaman intensified, after which the latter got locked up at the police station.
According to details, differences erupted between Fawad Chaudhry and PTV anchor Tasawar Zaman on Friday which heated to such a level that the minister had to take action against the anchor.

According to reports, Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry filed an FIR against PTV’s anchor Tasawar Zaman yesterday, after which police locked him up at Aabpara police station, Islamabad.
Sources have revealed that earlier on Friday, PTV anchor visited the Federal Minister in his office for some personal issues, however, both got in a heated argument.
Sources have alleged that the dispute reached such a level that the anchor was about to raise his hand at the Minister, after which Fawad Chaudhry took severe action and filed a complaint with the Aabpara police station. Police took the anchor in custody.
According to the latest reports, Tasawar Zaman filed a petition against the minister in the police station.
The context of the petition filed by the anchor states that he went to the office of Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry due to his personal problems. Fawad Chaudhry took an aggressive attitude towards him and insulted him severely.

Zaman mentioned in his application that he was pushed out of Fawad Chaudhry’s office by Director Peer Suleman Rashdi who also threatened him.
Tasawar Zaman clearly wrote in his application that his life is threatened by these two powerful and influential personalities.
