Anil Kapoor’s mother Nirmal dies at 90

Nirmal Kapoor, mother of actor Anil Kapoor, filmmaker Boney Kapoor and actor Sanjay Kapoor, died on May 2 due to age-related issues. She celebrated her 90th birthday in September 2024.

She died at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital after suffering from health issues for the past couple of months. Videos shared online show Boney Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor’s husband Karan Boolani, Janhvi Kapoor and Shikhar Pahariya at the hospital late in the evening.

Nirmal Kapoor was married to legendary producer Surinder Kapoor. In addition to being the mother of four talented and good-looking children, she was also the grandmother of several celebrities, including Arjun Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Harsh Vardhan Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, and Mohit Marwah.
