Another international airlines suspends operations across Pakistan

Following a suspension of operations by international airlines, Emirates, another major airline has decided to suspend its flight operations across Pakistan.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, following reports of Emirates airlines stopping its operations across Pakistan, Etihad airways has also decided to follow suit and stop its operation within the country.

International Airline suspends air operations to Pakistan

It is to be noted that, Emirates Airlines suspended air operations to Pakistan from June 24th. It was reported that no flights will be able to take off from 4 am on June 24, and that Emirates Airlines will announce the schedule for carrying passengers from Pakistan later, according to reports of Baaghi TV.

According to the spokesperson of Emirates Airlines, the airlines will continue to carry cargo service to promote trade between Pakistan and the UAE meanwhile, passenger services will be restored soon. Similarly, according to Air Alliance Travels (Pvt) Limited’s Facebook page, Etihad Airways has issued a notification pertaining to the suspension of its operations in Pakistan.

As per the notification, the international airlines has suspended its operations with immediate effect, for all passenger services, until further notice. However, incoming flights from Abu Dhabi will continue to operate as per schedule. In addition to this, cargo flights will also continue their operations both ways.

It is pertinent to note, that as per reports of Baaghi TV, the CAA is to blame for the suspension of airline operations due to its unjust and irrational behavior which has reportedly coerced Emirates and others to immediately suspend operations within the country to safeguard their personal and international interests as an airline and business.
