Army should be kept away from the politics: Military Leadership
Islamabad, 21st September: The army has nothing to do with the political process, says the military leadership.
Baaghi TV: The military leadership has made it clear that the Pakistan Army is not directly or indirectly involved in any political process in the country.
According to details, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and DG ISI Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed met the parliamentary leaders.

The military leadership made it clear to the country’s political leadership that the Pakistan Army had nothing to do with the political process directly or indirectly.
During the meeting, administrative matters of Gilgit-Baltistan and national security were discussed in detail. The military leadership in the meeting called for keeping the Pakistan Army away from political affairs.
The military leadership said that the army had no involvement in election reforms, NAB and political affairs.

The Chief of Army Staff, DG ISI met the parliamentary leaders last week. The meeting was attended by Bilawal Bhutto, Shehbaz Sharif, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Sirajul Haq, Asadur Rehman, Sherry Rehman, Khawaja Asif, Sheikh Rashid, and ANP leader.
