Arrest of TLPs chief triggers civil war like situation
After the execution of Ghazi Mumtaz Qadri, the voice raised by Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan for the protection of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) received full support and appreciation across the country. Allama Khadim Hussain Rizvi had expressed his helplessness by placing his turban on the body and feet of Mumtaz Qadri Shaheed. But after his martyrdom, Allama Khadim Hussain Rizvi did not sit for a single day. He had hinted at the wrath of Nawaz Sharif government on the execution of Mumtaz Qadri, and everyone saw the Nawaz Sharif government being overthrown. Allama Khadim Hussain Rizvi, head of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan, won the hearts of the people with his enthusiastic leadership and fiery rhetoric. The Labbaik movement launched a nationwide protest against the French government, and a historic sit-in was called in Faizabad. The Tehreek-e-Labbaik sit-in had paralyzed Rawalpindi and the federal capital Islamabad. Finally, on November 16, 2020, the government was forced to kneel Infront of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan, and an agreement was reached between Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan and the government of Pakistan that all the workers of Tehreek-e-Labbaik scheduled in the fourth schedule would be released. The bill will be taken, and the parliament will legislate on it and the decision made by the parliament will be implemented. But life has not been faithful to Allama Khadim Hussain Rizvi and he was abruptly acquitted on November 19, 2020. The sudden death of Allama Khadim Hussain Rizvi has caused a stir in Pakistani politics. In a very short period, Khadim Hussain Rizvi had made his party a nationwide party and his representatives were also elected in the National and Provincial Assemblies. In most places, their representatives won second place, gaining more than 50,000 votes.
After the death of Allama Khadim Hussain Rizvi, his son Hafiz Allama Saad Rizvi was elected the new head of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan. Saad Rizvi had given a deadline of February 16 and demanded termination of relations with France and expulsion of the French ambassador. The agreement was renewed on the assurance of the government and was signed by Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri and Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid and those in charge of the Shura of Tehreek-e-Labbaik. But no progress was being made by the government in this regard. Allama Saad Rizvi announced that from April 16 we will start protesting again and on April 16 at midnight we will have a long march towards Islamabad. The Government of Pakistan arrested Allama Saad Rizvi on April 12 in Lahore at the hands of elite forces at Scheme Moor while he was returning from a funeral on Lahore Wahdat Road. News of Allama Saad Rizvi’s arrest spread like wildfire across the country and riots broke out across the country. The worst traffic jams occurred in major cities of Karachi, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Murree, Sukkur, Peshawar, and other cities.
With all this, it seems that incompetent advisers to the PTI government are pushing it to the brink. A spokesman for Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan warned the government to refrain from high-handed tactics. The arrest of Allama Saad Rizvi cannot dampen our spirits. If the government does not want to face defeat and public outrage, it must ensure the immediate implementation of the Faizabad agreement before April 20 and deport the French ambassador and end all trade relations with France. Allama Saad Rizvi was arrested just one day before the arrival of Ramadan. There is a wave of grief and anger across the country against the government’s move. Recently, President Dr. Arif Alavi boldly made a statement against France and said that France should refrain from the policy of Islamophobia and stop discriminatory actions and legislation against Muslims. Such measures are not good for any country and such biased measures will divide their society. This statement of Dr. Arif Alvi was severely reprimanded by summoning the Ambassador of Pakistan to France and it was termed as interference in the internal affairs of France and the statement of the President was strongly condemned by France.
The President’s statement on the glory of the Holy Prophet and his sanctity is a positive step and an expression of the Ummah. If 20 of the more than 55 Islamic countries rise up against France, France will be forced to its knees. There was a time when Muslims all over the world used to talk about the Ottoman Empire, but when we gave up our values, humiliation became our destiny. It is not the responsibility of Mumtaz Qadri, Allama Khadim Hussain Rizvi or Allama Saad Rizvi alone to die for the sanctity of the Messenger of Allah and to stand up for his honor and to guard his honor. It is the responsibility of the entire Ummah. Every child will be sacrificed for the glory of his prophet and his sanctity and will die. More than two billion Muslims worldwide have a responsibility to provide practical evidence of their survival. The Ummah must give practical proof of its awakening. Anti-Islamic elements are constantly engaged in conspiracies against Islam. Islamophobia has driven the West crazy. It is the responsibility of the government of Pakistan and the religious parties of Pakistan to act in any way for the sake of honoring the Prophet. The OIC should announce a strict strategy in this regard. Pakistan is a country founded in the name of Islam and the people here will not tolerate insolence in the name of their Prophet at any cost. If the government does not legislate in this regard, then Mumtaz Qadri will continue to be born in the country and no power in the world can weaken our faith and belief. The government should act wisely and not play with fire. The Faizabad agreement should be implemented immediately. Allama Saad Hussain Rizvi should be released. Otherwise, Imran Khan’s lame lovely government will be piled up in front of the flood of Aashiqan-e-Rasool. The sit-ins and protests at D–Chowk, Parliament House and Bani Gala will not give the government a chance to flee.
