Pakistani athlete Arshad Nadeem has qualified for the final round in men’s Javelin Throw at the Tokyo Olympics.

According to reports, Arshad Nadeem made a throw at a distance of 85.16m in men’s Javelin Throw at the Tokyo Olympics. In the second round, he had the highest score in Group B.

Arshad Nadeem from Mian Channu is the first Pakistani athlete to reach the final round of the Javelin Throw at the Olympics. Nine Pakistani athletes have so far failed at their respective sports. The final round of the sport will be played on August 7.

He is the first athlete in Pakistan’s history to qualify directly for the Olympics based on his performance instead of an “innovation quota” or wildcard.

Reports state that the athlete not only set a new record for the South Asian Games by throwing a spear 86.29 meters away, in 2019, at the South Asian Games held in Kathmandu, Nepal, but also managed to qualify directly for the Tokyo Olympics on the bill of this performance.

Arshad Nadeem belongs to Village Chak No. 101-15L near Mian Channu. His father is Raj Mistry, who has always encouraged his son at every step.
