COLOMBO: India beat Bangladesh by 5 runs in a thriller of Under 19 Asia Cup final.

According to details, India beat Bangladesh by 5 runs in the final of Asia Cup. India defended a low total of 106 runs to lift Under 19 Asia Cup title. While defending a low total, India dismissed Bangladesh for 101 in 33 overs, Ankolekar 5 wickets and pacer Akash Singh 3 wickets helps India to win a final match. On the other hand, skipper Akbar Ali 23 useful runs and Mrittunjoy Chowdhury 21 runs kept Bangladesh in the hunt.

India’s decision to bat first after winning the toss backfired big time as left arm pacer Mrittunjoy Chowdhury and off spinner Shamim Hossain 3 wickets each wreaked havoc on the Indian batsmen. Skipper Dhruv Jurel 33 runs and lower order batsman Karan Lal 37 runs help India cross the 100 run mark and put a target of 106.
