Atif Aslam to enter the drama industry in the near future

Popular singer Atif Aslam has confirmed that he will soon be making his debut on the small screen – he will be working on a drama serial, ‘Sang-e-Mah’.

‘Sang-e-Mah’ is a sequel to the 2016 drama ‘Sang-e-Marmar’ which aired on a private channel in which Kubra Khan, Sania Saeed, Noman Ijaz and Mikaal Zulfiqar acted.

For the past several months, rumors have been circulating on social media that Atif Aslam is going to make his debut on the small screen. Actor Noman Ijaz also said in August that he would be a part of the drama.

Recently, Atif Aslam released a video statement on his social media accounts and told the fans about his upcoming projects and said, ”I am working on a drama serial and I need your prayers”.

Atif Aslam said, “You have always blessed me with your love and I hope you will do the same this time too. I am coming up with a new project for my fans very soon so stay with me.”

Furthermore, he said that he is going to release a new song soon, after which he also released the teaser of his song ‘Ajnabi’ yesterday.

Sharing the teaser of the song, Atif Aslam said that this teaser is a weekend gift for his fans.

It may be recalled that in an interview last August, Atif Aslam had confirmed that he would appear in a song with Mahira Khan this year and the two would have a romance on screen a decade later.

Earlier, the two had worked together in a film called ‘Bol’ and their duo was highly appreciated while Atif Aslam also termed it a privilege to work with Mahira Khan and described her as a serious and good actress.

It is to be noted that Sang-e-Mah, is actually a sequel to Sang-e-Mar-e-Mar, which aired on Hum TV in 2016, which was well-received because of the story.

Raima’s story revolves around the family and customs of Pakistan’s tribal areas, which is why it was so appreciated by the audience.
