An attempt to kidnap Shah Abdul Latif University student has successfully been foiled by three students who have been injured for intervening. According to reports, the students were injured when they resisted the abduction of the student. More than 7 suspects stopped the university bus at gunpoint. The accused tried to kidnap student Khushboo Bhatti which was foiled by fellow students. After the incident, the students staged a sit-in on Ranipur National Highway.

Police say that the accused, who is studying at Safdar Wasan University, tried to abduct the student by stopping the bus along with his colleagues. The injured students have been shifted to the hospital. The area has been cordoned off for the arrest of the accused who will be arrested soon, according to the Police. According to reports, the police have formed teams to arrest the accused.
