Azerbaijan hoisted its flag over liberated Armenian territories

Azerbaijan has gained control of more areas in the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region in the South Caucasus and hoisted its national flag.

According to foreign news agency reports, the Central Asian country of Azerbaijan gains control of several areas occupied by Armenia during the war, which is clear evidence of retreat of the Armenian army. As a result of the shelling of the Azerbaijani army, chaos has spread among the Armenian forces.

Media sources say Azerbaijani troops have targeted Armenian military bases, weapons depots and vehicles during the clashes. Meanwhile, a brigade commander of the Armenian army was killed and another was seriously wounded.

The foreign news agency said that the Azeri flag has been hoisted in some towns of the Armenian-controlled city of Gabriel while video footage of the escape of the Armenian army has also been released by the Azeri army.

It may be recalled that two days ago in Islamabad, the Deputy Head of Missions of Azerbaijan, Samir Gliyev, had said that Armenia had started the first war, after which we retaliated. The Armenian aggression has so far left 31 civilians dead and hundreds injured. We have conquered 26 areas, including 1 city, in the last 10 days.
