Bad News for Bridgerton fans

Bridgerton is the most watched romantic TV series of NETFLIX. Season 1’s lead character Simon Basset, a heart throb, who was everyone’s favourite will no longer be seen in the upcoming season. 

Bridgerton’s Instagram page shared the heart breaking news that Rege-Jean Page, the Duke of Hastings in the series, wont be returning for season 2. They announced that they are biding farewell to the character Simon Basset as the season 2 will be focused on finding a Viscountess for Lord Anthony.

Promising a more intriguing and romantic season 2, the post further explained that Daphne, wife of Simon Basset will still be there and she will be playing a helping hand for her brother.

Even though fans are curious for season 2, they are still heart broken on this news.
