Lahore, 16th May: Veteran politician Begum Nasim Wali Khan passed away at the age of 88.
According to reports, Begum Nasim Wali Khan breathed her last on Sunday at the age of 88, her family members confirmed.
According to reports from family members, Begum Nasim was suffering from diabetes and cardiac issues and breathed her last today morning.

Her funeral prayers will be offered at Wali Bagh, Charsadda, at 6 pm on Sunday.
Begum Wali Khan was the wife of Khan Abdul Wali khan, leader of the Awami National Party (ANP). She was the stepmother of the current ANP chief Asfandyar Wali Khan.

Begum Wali Khan was the first woman from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) to get elected as a lawmaker, she was once the elected member of the National Assembly and was elected thrice as a member of the provincial assembly.
It may be recalled that Begum Nasim Wali’s husband and eminent Pakistani politician Khan Abdul Wali Khan died on January 26, 2006, in Peshawar.
