Washington, 20th January: Joe Biden, the 46th US president-elect will sign 15 actions to address US crisis after taking office on Wednesday.

Baaghi TV: Biden will sign the executive orders and memorandums in the Oval Office in the afternoon to address the crises of the pandemic, the economy, climate change and racial inequity.

His aides reported that Biden will sign over fifteen executive orders later today, his first day in the White House as President, undoing policies put in place by outgoing President Donald Trump and will make his first moves on the pandemic and climate change.

Incoming Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that Joe Biden has asked agencies to take steps in two additional areas which include a mask mandate on federal property and for federal employees. The second one is an order to establish a new White House office coordinating response to the coronavirus.

Biden will also issue an order to tackle the climate change situation, including revoking the presidential permit granted to the controversial Keystone XL oil pipeline.

On addressing immigration, Biden will revoke Trump’s emergency declaration that helped fund the construction of a border wall and will also end a travel ban on some majority-Muslim countries.

Psaki added, “In the coming days and weeks we will be announcing additional executive actions that confront these challenges and deliver on the President-elect’s promises to the American people.”
