The petition was heard against the non-appointment of the Chairman Copyright Board in the Sindh High Court. Sindh High Court ordered appointment of Ministry of Commerce as Chairman Copyright Board. The court ordered that a report be submitted to the Chairman Copyright Board. The court also ordered that a copy of the order be sent to the Ministry of Law and the Attorney General of Pakistan.
