Book Review: The Davinci Code Decoded
The sky of world literature is teemed with marvellous creativity and themes which has emboldened the human nature and unmasked hidden secrets of life.

“The DaVinci Code” is a masterpiece in itself. The story revolves around an ancient secret that is buried under the surface of Earth and is believed to be catastrophic, if ends up in the wrong hands. To protect it a secret society was formed whose sole task was to protect the secret and don’t let it die, known as Priory of Sion. However another society with great political influence Opus Dei, catholic by nature, wants to get the secret and destroy it, as they believed it to be blasphemy.

The Priory of Sion from centuries have been successful in keeping their identity and protect the secret. Its Grand Masters have been some of the most influential and well-known figures of this third world, such as Leonardo DaVinci, Victor Hugo, Sir Isaac Newton, and others.
Some how the Opus Dei gets the knowledge about most senior members of the Priory, and kills them, this ignites the events of this novel. The murder of of a well-known cryptographer and art lover Jacques Sauniere by a mystic white man set the story in prologue. Following his murder enquiry, the author introduces us to the main protagonist of story Robert Langdon, a professor of arts and symbolism at Harvard and famous for his research work in ancient symbolism and Pagan religion, currently staying in Paris for a study lecture. His interrogation with DJSP was interrupted by a cryptographer “Detective” Sophie Neave, who deciphered the strange pattern on the crime scene. But the local police is determinant that the culprit behind this murder is our protagonist.
However, the detective makes herself and professor on a run and explains to him the strange pattern of this whole situation. They both then start their adventure and got the key which could lead them to the secret. Now their only purpose becomes to find what the secret is and to protect it, so that the world can live in piece…………
The whole story is explained and narrated in a well organized manner. The revelations of the secrets, progression of events, character building and every other thing is done with expertly and reflects how determinant the author is to his work The description of facts is in a convincing and prominent way. The whole story is full of scientific facts, intelligence, instincts, rich religious and cultural information. If it is to be described in one word , then it would be “WOW!!”.
