Britain to lift Covid-19 restrictions before Easter

UK/Britain: The United Kingdom (UK) has announced the decision to lift all Covid-19 restrictions ahead of Easter celebrations.
According to British media, the UK has announced that all safety measures related to Coronavirus, Covid-19, will be lifted by March 18th, ahead of Easter. All requirements regarding the vaccination of passengers will also be lifted.
According to the reports, none-vaccinated people will not have to take a corona test prior to traveling, nor will they be required to submit a locator form.

The British Minister of Transportation Grant Shapps said that lifting travel restrictions would mean that people would be able to travel again as in the past. Earlier, the UK lifted the ban on isolation.
Earlier, Saudi Arabia had abolished the condition of PCR test and quarantine for travelers entering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Authorities also announced the lifting of a number of sanctions imposed on the kingdom following a drop in Corona cases.
A statement from the Interior Ministry said, “Restrictions on Corona SOPs have been relaxed. The condition of PCR test and quarantine for those who come to the country has also been abolished”.
From 4am Friday 18 March, the last remaining COVID-19 travel restrictions in place, including the Passenger Locator Form (PLF) and testing, will be removed for arrivals into the UK, irrespective of vaccination status ✈️.

A statement issued by the Saudi Interior Ministry said that in light of the recommendations issued by the health care authorities, a number of precautionary measures were being relaxed. The ban on social distance for congregational prayers in the two holy mosques and in all mosques has been lifted. However, the condition of wearing masks will remain the same. The use of masks and maintaining social distance in all open spaces has been lifted, meanwhile, masks will continue to be used in closed places.
