British Airways A350 Suffers Tailstrike on Landing at Heathrow Airport
A British Airways (BA) Airbus A350-1000, with registration G-XWBC, was performing flight BA-104 from Dubai International Airport to London Heathrow Airport when it sustained a tailstrike during its approach to Heathrow’s runway 27L.
According to the details, the British Airways aircraft had to go around after attempting to land on runway 27L at the London Heathrow Airport. However, a tailstrike prompted the go around and led to the temporary closure of the runway.
All landing traffic was temporarily diverted from runway 27L to runway 27R.

The airport’s emergency services met the aircraft as a precaution. In a statement, an airlines spokesperson reportedly said, “The aircraft landed safely, and customers and crew have all disembarked.”
