British Crime Writer Anne Perry dies, aged 84
British crime writer Anne Perry, who was the primary inspiration behind the movie Heavenly Creatures (1994) for murdering her friend’s mother, has died aged 84. According to The Guardian reports Perry killed her friend Pauline Parker’s mother in Christchurch, New Zealand at the age of 15, in 1954. Anne Perry, originally named Juliet Hulme, and Pauline Parker killed Honora Mary Parker by hitting her with a brick twenty times, at the time, the murder shocked the country. Till her death, at 84 years of age, Perry had managed to sell more than twenty-five million copies worldwide. On Wednesday, her publisher confirmed the reports of her passing.
