Usman Buzdar further said that the Economic zones and industrial estates are being set up on an area of ​​more than 10,000 acres. Established in Faisalabad, Allama Iqbal Industrial City covers an area of ​​more than 3,000 acres. Allama Iqbal Industrial City will directly create employment opportunities for 300,000 youth.

Usman Buzdar said that the Industrial City will have the capacity to set up more than 550 industrial units. The project will be a game changer in keeping the economy afloat, creating 1 million jobs in related fields. The Punjab government’s industrial reforms will pave the way for economic recovery in the context of Covid 19.

He said that the work is underway on infrastructure in the districts adjoining other provinces to promote inter-provincial trade. Punjab’s economic development will revolutionize the entire region, including Pakistan. International companies are being brought to Pakistan and one window systems have been set up in industrial estates to facilitate them.
