Islamabad (29th June, 2019): Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) have banned carrying of snuff on international flights.
According to Baaghi TV’s reports, the CAA and ANF have imposed a ban on the carrying of snuff [Niswar] on international flights. An official notification has been issued on 29th June, Saturday.
Sources confirm that Panaflex has been installed on all major airports across Pakistan. Based on the notification, it has been confirmed by Baaghi TV’s sources, that Arab countries ave declared snuff as a drug. It has further been confirmed that severe action will be taken against any passengers found guilty of carrying snuff.
Moreover, as per Iraqi law enforcement agents, many Pakistani citizens were arrested in May of 2018 on charges of carrying the substance. Consequently, the Pakistani embassy in Iraq had an official letter to the Pakistani government requesting to ban carrying of the substance during travel.
As confirmed by sources, the letter stated that if Pakistan’s government failed to ensure a total elimination of snuff, the Pakistani citizens will be taken into custody at the Iraqi airport if found guilty.
