Canada imposes new restrictions for travelers, when will they come into place?
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, announced in late January that new restrictions will be put in place for travelers coming into the country by air. According to reports, Trudeau announced that any travelers flying into the country will have to take a mandatory PCR test. They will be forced to quarantine for up to three days, on their own expense. It was reported at the time that the new restrictions will come into effect by the 22nd of February. Moreover, PM Trudeau stated, “We’re not trying to punish people, we’re trying to keep people safe”.
